FSC Application Search Process

Here’s how you can track the status of your FSC application online in a few easy steps:

Step 1: Go to the EPDS Telangana Portal

• Open your web browser and visit the official EPDS Telangana website.
• This portal, run by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies, is your go-to place for all ration card-related services, including checking your application status.

Step 2: Find the FSC Search Option

• On the homepage, look for the “FSC Search” option. You’ll usually find it on the left or right side of the page, depending on how the website is designed.
• Click on “FSC Search” to head to the ration card search section.

Step 3: Choose FSC Application Search

• Once you’re on the search page, you’ll see a few options under the “Ration Cards Search” section.
• Select “FSC Application Search” to check the status of your FSC application.

Step 4: Enter Your Details

• A form will pop up asking for specific details. You’ll need to fill in:
  • District: Choose your district (like Hyderabad, Warangal, etc.) from the dropdown menu.
  • Application Number: Type in the reference or application number you got when you submitted your FSC application.
• If you don’t have the application number, some portals may let you use your Aadhaar number, ration card number, or old ration card number, depending on the options available.
• Make sure you enter the details correctly to avoid any errors.

Step 5: Submit to Check Status

• Double-check the information you’ve entered.
• Hit the “Search” button.
• The portal will show your FSC application status, which could be:
  • Approved: Your card is ready and might be available for download or pickup.
  • Under Process: Your application is still being reviewed.
  • Rejected: Your application wasn’t approved, and you may see a reason for the rejection.

Step 6: Download or Collect Your Card (If Approved)

• If your application is approved, you might see an option to download your e-Ration Card as a PDF.
• Click the download icon (if available) to save your digital FSC, which you can use at ration shops.
• If downloading isn’t an option, your card may be mailed to your registered address or available for pickup at a MeeSeva center or District Supply Office.

Other Ways to Search for Your FSC

• Using Aadhaar or Ration Card Number:
  • You can sometimes check your FSC status using your Aadhaar number or ration card number instead of the application number.
  • On the FSC Search page, choose options like “Search FSC with Aadhaar No” or “Ration Card Search,” enter the required details along with your district, and click “Submit” to see the status.
• Checking Rejected Applications:
  • If your application was rejected, you can find out why by selecting “Status of Rejected Ration Card Search” on the FSC Search page.
  • Enter your ration card number or FSC reference number, then click “Search” to view details, including the reason for rejection.
